I have just left a customers house, She has had broadband problems for three months, BT Openreach have been out to try and fix the problems as well as a local computer shop but the problems were still occouring. I have fixed the problem in less time than it took me to drink my cup of tea! £25 well spent!

Happy birthday to me, this is the second time I have turned 29!

For the first time ever, I have finally had an Asian(?) call centre ring me to say that my PC was infected and my security was at risk.
To be fair, the guy had the patience of a saint!
He had to spend ten minutes explaining where the ‘CTRL’ key was on my keyboard but I insisted that I didn’t have one, I then made him explain what the ‘desktop’ was as I was sure that I did not have one then he asked me to press the ‘start’ button but I just kept repeating ‘why would my computer have a FART button?’.
He was very persistent and I took great pleasure in finally telling him that I fix PC’s (among other things) for a living and that he should (politely) sling his hook!
The tiniest possible victory against these lying conmen; at least while he was on the phone to me, he was not ripping someone else off!

Clarity have been invited to become the 'Broadband Champions' for the Blennerhasset/Baggrow/Torpenhow parish. Due to the excellent reputation which we have nurtured over the past year, we have been approached and asked to act as liaison between the local villages, the parish council and the government as part of the continuing broadbandcumbria campaign to bring super-fast broadband to our little, once forgotten, parish. As part of our ongoing mission to offer excellent service and advice to the local communities, not only will Clarity still be helping local residents to get the most from their current broadband service (offering home visits to tweak internal cabling, replacing filters and routers ect.) but we will also be lobbying the government on your behalf to try and get the overall broadband service improved greatly.
